I have a 12+ years of experience of IT industry as a support engineer. But right now i want to move to analytics side. Will this industry consider my experience while moving to new role?

The industry will consider your experience as some support experience. It will not be considered in the analytics domain. But you can always gain knowledge, work on projects, and get into the analytics space.
